We are SO excited that you are interested in spending your summer with us! We have a few different opportunities available to you. If you are a high school student (rising 9th – 11th grade) please complete the Intern Application. If you are an incoming college freshman or current college student please select the Summer Staff Application.
For those of you interested in being an actor, worship leader, camera operator or stage hand, please fill out the Production Staff Application.
What is the difference between Intern and Summer Staff?
An Intern is a high school student who is super excited to learn all the things about Camp KidJam. They will shadow our Summer Staff and learn how to organize small groups, run tracks, assist with Jam Sessions and SO MUCH MORE! This will give them the opportunity to grow and become a Summer Staff member once they have graduated (high school). You will be required to raise a small amount of support, $200 for each week of camp you choose to attend.
A Summer Staff is an incoming college freshman or current college student who is ready to be an expert at Camp KidJam! They will be the ones overseeing Small Groups, Stage Managing, Tracks, Color Wars, and lots of other fun aspects of CKJ. You will be responsible for seeing your specific jobs to completion each week as well as overseeing and training interns. You will be paid a small stipend each week. There are two staff applications to choose from. If you are interested in being an actor, camera operator or stage hand, please select the Production Staff Application. Everyone else, please select the Summer Staff Application.
Whether you are applying to be an Intern or Summer Staff we must warn you, this will be one of the most exciting, challenging, rewarding, exhausting, unforgettable experiences of your life. Be prepared to laugh until you cry, work hard, play hard, be part of an amazing team, gain life long friends, take a few road trips, lose a lot of sleep and leave a lasting impact on the next generation. We aim to create an environment every week where each leader and camper can experience God in a fun, engaging, and personal way and we can’t do that alone. We look forward to getting to know you better. Once your application has been completed, a Camp Kid Jam Staff member will be in contact with you shortly.
